Today is the first Sunday of the Advent, in some countries it is a tradition to keep an Advent wreath with four candles and light one candle on each Sunday before Christmas.
For this tradition I created this project. It is not a wreath, but has 4 candles in it.
What you will need:
- 4 candles
- a dish to place your candles on
- mini Christmas baubles
- bakers twine
- 4 doily paper
- Number stamps
- Embossing powder
I stamped and heat embossed the numbers 1,2,3,4. I cut them out with a very sharp pair of scissors.
I wrapped each candle with a small doily and secured the doily with some bakers twine.
Then I tied the numbers on the candles with some more bakers twine and placed them onto a long plate along with some mini Christmas baubles.
Always be very careful when lighting candles and never leave them unattended when lit.
It is a very easy project and you need no special products to recreate it.
