Adding the blog badge to your blog

BLOGGER

If you use Blogger you need to do the following:

1. Open your blog Dashboard and click on Design
2. You will be on a page elements tab and you should see Add Gadget over to the right or left of the screen (the position depends on the layout of your blog)
3. Click on Add Gadget
4. Choose Add a Picture from the list that opens up. Click on this option and;
5. Fill in the Title, something along the lines of – Crafting Ireland Online Magazine
6. Fill in the Link with the following – http://www.craftingirelandonline.ie/
7. Choose Image from The Web and paste in this link – http://i1087.photobucket.com/albums/j475/nicoleqmullen/blogbadgesquare.jpg
8. Click Save and you are done!

 

WORDPRESS

If you use WordPress you need to do the following:

1. Open your blog dashboard
2. Go to Appearance and then Widgets
3. Choose an Image widget and drag it over to your Primary Widget Area
4. Fill in the Title, something along the lines of – Crafting Ireland Online Magazine
5. Fill in the Image URL with the following – http://i1087.photobucket.com/albums/j475/nicoleqmullen/blogbadgesquare.jpg
6. You can change the alingment and image size if you wish
7. Fill in the Link URL with the following – http://www.craftingirelandonline.ie/
8. Click Save and you are done!
