Valentine’s Day Altered Gift Box – Katya Ivanova

Hi everyone,

This is Katya here and today we will be recycling an empty chocolate box into a lovely gift box.

We will need:

Step 1

Measure all sides of the box’s lid and cut out pieces of cardstock, measuring 5 mm less than the box itself.

Step 2

Cut out matching papers, again 5 mm less that the cardstock this time.

Step 3

Using Antique Linen distress ink, distress all edges of the papers and the cardstock.

Step 4

Next using matching threads, stitch all the papers and cardstock together.

Step 5

To decorate I used part of a doily, sentiment, raffia and flowers. To finish it off I also added some rhinestones
